Here we are in the northland, enjoying Summer playing some Blues and we'd love to share that with you! Check out some new video, listen here on our site or come to a show. We have CDs and tee shirts available here and at all shows. Send us an email, join our email list! May you day have some Blues in it!
Hey folks! Met some great people on the road this past month or two. Time to chill and rest for our journey northward for the summer. The tour was a trip, a long, sometimes strange, sometimes enlightening, always interesting, full of our Blues. Full house, half house, nearly empty house, we played them all. We left it all there... We know where we are going back to play again.
One of the highlights for me was playing at the Trail of Tears Memorial Wall built by Tom Hendrix, Great Great Grandson of Te-La-Nay, a Yuchi woman who returned from forced relocation in Oklahoma to her homeland of Alabama and The Singing River, near Muscle Shoals. Spirit vibe is strong here so I left some music at the wall, birds singing along. Also biked the dogs to a meadow and creek so they could plug into the vibe too. Strong energy, friendly energy. Tom Hendrix is a Storyteller I am honored to have heard.
As always, thank you for your support and welcome to all of our new fans! We have met so many great folks Down A Good Road! Keep coming back!!

Howdy folks! I've added a video below to introduce one of the tunes on my new record. Hope you enjoy it and keep checking back for news of the record release!
Rich Brown is a local boy with a bluesy guitar and a guttural voice to match. His 2009 six-track disc, Beach Blues, provides a nice sampling of his slide work. Brown is joined on the record by Woody Giessmann of Boston’s beloved Del Fuegos, and producer Hendrick Gideonse of Boston-based Indecent Music. The disc makes a nice showcase of Brown’s colorful lyrics, growly voice, and pensive guitar. Boston Blues Society Review - 2010
Rich Brown is playing and singing the music he loves. Poke around the site a bit, come to a show, but mostly enjoy the music.
His performances are light and funny, sometime dark and moody but not for long. His music is an escape from the day to day we all walk through. That's what it did for the people who first created and played country and delta blues music! People will hear something a bit different when they listen to his music and there has not been an audience that didn't enjoy what they heard!
See you soon!
